Sound Transit is seeking public participation in an online survey regarding future transit-oriented development (TOD) at a new station in Lynnwood, Washington.

The agency owns land next to the future Lynnwood City Center Station that will be available for development after Link light-rail construction is completed in 2024.

The land is currently being used as a temporary parking lot for the Lynwood Transit Center while the adjacent light-rail station is being built. Once the new station opens in 2024, Sound Transit plans to make the land available for TOD endeavors.

The online survey — which is available in English, Korean, Spanish and Vietnamese — will be conducted through Dec. 21. The feedback will help the agency create a vision for future development near the new station focused on easy access to transit, Sound Transit officials said in a press release.

A summary of survey responses will be shared in an online open house to be held in spring 2022. Sound Transit plans to provide the public additional opportunities to provide feedback in the near future.
