South Florida RTA to hold two more transportation workshops

Later this month, the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) will host transportation workshops in Miami-Dade and Broward counties to discuss regional transportation needs, priorities and funding. The authority held a similar workshop in Palm Beach County in September.
The workshops will include presentations by SFRTA, Broward County Transit, the Florida Department of Transportation, Miami-Dade and Broward counties' Metropolitan Planning Organizations, Miami-Dade Transit, South Florida Regional Planning Council and Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council.
Elected officials, transportation industry professionals, local government administrators, community activists and members of the general public are encouraged to attend. SFRTA plans to hold a regional transportation summit in early 2009.
