TRE registers 20 millionth rider

More good news for Trinity Railway Express (TRE). After reporting record fiscal-year 2008 ridership last month, the agency registered its 20 millionth passenger yesterday.
The 34-mile commuter-rail line, which connects Dallas and Fort Worth, launched operations in 1996. TRE is jointly operated by Dallas Area Rapid Transit and the Fort Worth Transportation Authority.
