The Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) will host public meetings in June to solicit opinions on two proposed passenger-rail stations in Fort Worth, Texas.
At the meetings, to be held June 11 and 13, The T officials will discuss two stations that will be part of the 37-mile TEX Rail passenger line that will travel from southwest Forth Worth, through the city’s downtown, on to Grapevine and into the north end of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
“Input from the public is an important part of the discussions about changes in station sites in the Medical District area and in the area located east of the Fort Worth Stockyards,” said The T President Dick Ruddell in a prepared statement.
The meetings are intended to attract area residents and representatives of businesses, major employers and institutions to gain their perspectives on the TEX Rail project and the proposed station locations, he added.
