advertisement
Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (Tri-Met) recently began repairing five bridges on a line carrying the Willamette Shore Trolley from Portland’s River Palace to downtown Lake Oswego.
The $275,000 project includes replacing the beams that support trestles on the seven-mile alignment. The work is part of the agency’s maintenance plan to continue service on the Willamette Shore Trolley, according to a prepared statement.
Scheduled to continue through mid-summer, construction is not expected to affect the trolley’s schedule.
