Rail News: Passenger Rail
On Saturday, South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) will open a new Tri-Rail Boca Raton Station. The agency will close the existing Boca Raton station on Friday.
The new station is part of the Double Track Corridor Improvement Program, Segment 5 project, which will enable SFRTA to expand commuter-rail service. Once the project is complete in March 2006, Tri-Rail will run trains every 20 minutes during rush hour.

Tri-Rail to unveil new Boca Raton station
