TriMet names Bethel, Olanrewaju to board

The Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) has appointed T. Allen Bethel and Hakeem Olanrewaju to its board.
Bethel will represent north/northeast Portland, while Olanrewaju will represent Clackamas County.
Bethel has extensive mass transit experience, including a stint as chairman of a task force charged with managing the relocation of a light-rail line, public meetings and the design and building of a new station. Olanrewaju is chief financial officer, regional finance for Providence Health and Services.
The two governor appointees are eligible to serve two four-year terms.
