Trinity Railway Express (TRE) recently contracted wireless services company 4G Metro to provide wireless broadband along its entire 36-mile commuter-rail corridor between downtown Fort Worth, downtown Dallas and DFW Airport.
Beginning in early summer, TRE will offer passengers onboard high-speed wireless Internet access, as well as video content on 27-inch LCD television screens displayed in each car. The TVs will feature local advertisements, breaking news and sports updates.
