Twin Cities' Metro Transit offers riders trip-planning app to solicit feedback

The Twin Cities’ Metro Transit is providing riders with the subscription version of the free trip-planning Transit app, Transit Royale.

Royale offers departure times and live vehicle locations, Metro Transit officials said. Riders using the Transit app can provide feedback on station and vehicle cleanliness and departure time accuracy. The agency is one of dozens of transit agencies across the United States, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and France that is incentivizing its riders to provide feedback by sponsoring Transit Royale.

“Hearing from our riders is essential to knowing how and where we need to improve,” Metro Transit General Manager Lesley Kandaras said. “We are excited to not only make our transit information easier to access but to give riders another avenue for providing feedback.”
