The International Right of Way Association (IRWA) recently named the Utah Transit Authority’s FrontLines program the 2010 Project of the Year.

Slated for completion in 2015, the FrontLines program calls for building the Airport, Draper, Mid-Jordan and West Valley TRAX light-rail lines, and extending FrontRunner commuter-rail service from Salt Lake City to Provo, Utah.

In September, a panel of industry experts selected the year’s top 10 projects for IRWA, a non-profit association that offers right-of-way education and credentialing programs, and seeks to advance the nation's transportation, water and energy infrastructure projects. Other top 10 projects include Sound Transit’s Link light-rail system and an Interstate 44 improvement project in Oklahoma.
