Vapor Rail inks parts deal with Korean subway car builder

Korean subway car builder Rotem Co. awarded Wabtec Corp. subsidiary Vapor Rail a $6 million contract to supply parts for 126 cars Rotem is building for Attiko Metro S.A. in Athens, Greece.
Vapor Rail will provide outside-sliding plug door systems, including operators, controllers, door panels and peripherals.
The car order is part of a larger expansion plan Attiko Metro is conducting in preparation for the 2004 Olympics to be held in Athens.
