The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is adding 70 parking spaces for Enterprise's car sharing services at four more of its rail stations, the agency announced on Monday. The spots will become available June 1.This brings WMATA's total Enterprise parking spaces to 125, dispersed across 45 rail stations.Enterprise will compensate the agency over a five-year term, WMATA officials said. They selected the company following a "best value" procurement process. WMATA has employed car sharing services at its rail stations since 2001. Members of these services pay an annual fee, in addition to an hourly and daily rates for the vehicle.
