WMATA plans to add parking deck at West Falls Church Station
advertisement
Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s (WMATA) planning and development committee recently approved a recommendation to build a new parking structure at the West Falls Church Metrorail Station.
Pending final approval, the $13 million project would include a five-level garage with 996 parking spaces. A sixth level could be added pending funds. The structure would be added onto the north side of an existing park-and-ride lot.
WMATA expects to break ground in the fall and complete the project by late 2004.
