Beginning Thursday, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority will add a public comment period at the start of monthly board meetings.
Each person will have two minutes to address the board, which also will accept written comments.
Part of a series of initiatives designed to generate feedback, the comment period will be tested during the next several months. Other initiatives include town hall meetings, a riders’ advisory committee and email contact with board members.
