X Train names Zilliken CFO

Las Vegas Railway Express Inc. (X Train) recently named John Zilliken chief financial officer.
Zilliken previously was vice president and general manager of Mandalay Place, and vice president of leasing-retail for MGM Mirage.
“John was heavily involved in the outlines of the company’s initial business, organizational and operational plans, and going forward will be responsible for the strategic management of the company’s financial resources as we prepare to launch the operational aspects of our X Train to re-introduce passenger-rail service between Las Vegas and Los Angeles,” said X Train Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Michael Barron in a prepared statement.
X Train plans to re-establish “Vegas” style passenger train service between Las Vegas and L.A. beginning in late 2011.
