Yardmasters ratify NJ Transit, UTU agreement

United Transportation Union-represented yardmasters recently ratified a three-year agreement with NJ Transit, which provides a 10 percent pay increase and continued full health care payments, according to a prepared statement.



UTU also is negotiating yardmaster agreements with Amtrak and Northeast Illinios Regional Commuter Railroad Corp. (Metra).
