Freight roads

  • Union Pacific Railroad named Jeffrey Totusek vice president, controller and chief accounting officer; Richard Putz, VP-finance; and Edward Weber, VP-planning and analysis.
  • Kansas City Southern promoted Jeff Crandall from assistant VP-international engineering to VP-transportation for The Kansas City Southern Railway Co.; Carl Harrison, from AVP-technology and business solutions to VP-information technology and telecommunications; and James Koelper, from director to AVP-telecommunications.

  • The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority named Dave Kubicek assistant general manager for rail operations delivery.
  • Montreal’s Agence métropolitaine de transport appointed Joel Gauthier to serve a second four-year term as president and CEO.
