How did you get into the railroad industry? At 14, I had my first job shadow with one of the FEC accountants at the old Flagler Building in St. Augustine, Florida. I immediately fell in love with the railroad atmosphere and thought of one day working there. Once I went off to college, I was an intern during the summers for the revenue accounting team at FEC. A week after my college graduation, I got a position as a settlements coordinator with FEC, where I started to learn about the trucking side of the business. I left the railroad in 2014 and came back in 2018.
