The stories were originally published in Progressive Railroading (print and online versions) and RailPrime, our digital subscription offering dedicated to all things freight transportation (and home to the lion’s share of our originally reported coverage.)

We're resharing the stories in recognition of International Women’s Day on March 8, which celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women across the globe. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.
