Freight-road rosters
- Norfolk Southern Railway Executive Vice President of Finance James Squires can add “chief financial officer” to his title. The Class I appointed him CFO to succeed Henry Wolf, who retired July 1, ending a 34-year career with the railroad.
- Kansas City Southern promoted F. Daniel Hall from director of business solutions delivery to assistant VP of business solutions and IT; and Richard Stones, from director of enterprise solutions to AVP of technology solutions. The Class I also named Thomas Naso AVP of marketing for the intermodal and automotive business units.
- Patriot Rail Corp. promoted Stanley Wlotko to SVP-operations.

- After serving as interim director for four months, Harpal Kapoor was named to the permanent top post at Miami-Dade Transit. ... The Metropolitan Transportation Authority named Barbara Spencer deputy director for strategic planning for MTA’s Office of Security; Michael Chubak, acting EVP of MTA New York City Transit to succeed Spencer; Millard “Butch” Seay, SVP for regionalization; Ralph Agritelley, director of labor relations for MTA Long Island Rail Road; and Judith Pearce, director of labor for NYCT.
