St. Louis Metro names Jones VP of government, community affairs

St. Louis’ Metro recently named Adella Jones vice president of government and community affairs to succeed Sterling Adams, who retired after 25 years of service. Jones most recently served as director of communications.
She now will be responsible for promoting the agency’s policies and legislative initiatives to obtain funding for Metro’s transit operating and capital programs. Jones also will be charged with developing and implementing communications and community relations programs to increase public awareness of the agency, and facilitating interactions between Metro and governmental officials and organizations.
