DMJM Harris promotes Chmielinski to president, COO

Engineering firm DMJM Harris recently named Jane Chmielinski president and chief operating officer to succeed Frederick Werner, who was promoted to head parent company AECOM Technology Corp.’s U.S. Transportation Group.
Previously senior vice president of corporate development, Chmielinski helped plan and implement the reorganization of several support functions into the corporate development group, including information technology, quality and risk management, human resources, administration, professional practice groups, communications and marketing. Prior to joining DMJM Harris in 1993, she managed Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s environmental affairs department.
