Anacostia & Pacific's Gilbertson to chair Hill reference library

The James J. Hill Reference Library's board recently elected Anacostia & Pacific Co. Inc. Chief Executive Officer Peter Gilbertson as chairman.
An independent, non-profit reference library serving entrepreneurs and businesses nationwide, the library was founded by business pioneer James J. Hill, who relied on relevant and credible information to build BNSF Railway Co. predecessor the Great Northern Railroad.
In 1985, Gilbertson founded Anacostia & Pacific, which owns and operates eight short lines.
