Transportation Technology Center Inc. (TTCI) recently appointed Manuel “Manny” Ehrlich Jr. general manager of the Emergency Response Training Center (ERTC).

Ehrlich has more than 40 years’ experience in the chemical industry, including time spent as a crisis manager and emergency response incident investigator. He previously helped a number of chemical companies develop emergency response, human resource and labor relations programs.

Ehrlich serves as chairman of the Chemical Industry Responder Training Task Group and member of the Chemical Transportation Emergency Center’s (CHEMTREC) advisory panel.

The ERTC provides hazardous materials emergency response training programs, as well as risk management, accident prevention, and tank-car research and testing services. Operator of a research and testing facility in Pueblo. Colo., TTCI is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Association of American Railroads.
