Watco: Cox to head engineering, Williams to help manage short line

Watco Cos. L.L.C. recently named Tony Cox vice president of engineering. He will be responsible for supervising and planning all engineering and track-related activities, such as defining priorities and establishing performance metrics.
Cox has served Watco the past four years, most recently as senior chief engineer. He has 28 years of railroading experience, including track department management posts at Kyle Railways, StatesRail and RailAmerica Inc.
Watco also named Ryan Williams assistant general manager for the South Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad. He previously held various management team positions at BNSF Railway Co. since 2007.
