KCS promotes Evans, Franko to AVP positions

Kansas City Southern recently promoted Steve Evans from general director to assistant vice president of sales and marketing-U.S. carload business unit, and Matthew Franko, from general director to AVP of sales and marketing-international agriculture and minerals business unit.

Reporting to Owen Zidar, VP of sales and marketing-U.S. carload business unit, Evans joined the Kansas City Southern Railway Co. (KCSR) in 2001. He previously held various positions at Ryder Transportation Services, UPS and the U.S. Army.

Reporting to Michael Bilovesky, VP of sales and marketing-international agriculture and minerals business unit, Franko joined KCSR in 2005. He previously held various positions at a regional farmer-owned cooperative.
