On Dec. 16, Arzoon Inc. named Bill Sickler president and chief executive officer to succeed co-founder Farid Dibachi, who resigned to "pursue other interests," according to a prepared statement.

During the past 10 years, Sickler has served as CEO for Reactive Network Solutions, Caspian Networks, Gadzoox Networks and Network Computing. He previously spent 12 years serving Ungermann-Bass in various positions, including chief operating officer.

"As CEO with four technology companies, Bill has delivered rapid growth while building processes and infrastructure to support future expansion," said Arzoon board member Bob Todd. "We expect him to continue to expand Arzoon's market share."

In 1999, Dibachi co-founded Arzoon to offer transportation supply-chain execution and visibility software. As part of its LIFE™ software suite, the company markets Arzoon® FastTrack Rail Manager and Arzoon® Rail Rate Manager, which are designed to streamline the process of rail-shipment sourcing, execution, tracking and payment settlement.

Arzoon investors include Canadian Pacific Railway, CSX Corp., Norfolk Southern Corp. and Union Pacific Corp.
