ASLRRA appoints Collins to board's executive committee

The American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) appointed David Collins to the association’s 11-member executive committee.

He currently serves as senior vice president of commercial support at Genesee & Wyoming Railroad Services Inc., ASLRRA officials said in a press release.

Collins, who began serving on the association's committee July 31, succeeds Matt Walsh, executive VP of global corporate development at Genesee & Wyoming Inc.

Previously, Collins served ASLRRA as an eastern board member from 2008 to 2011. He has more than 35 years of railroad experience, including as senior VP of the New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania region for G&W to ASLRRA’s board.
