Bauman joins Dallas Area Rapid Transit's board

The Dallas city council has appointed Sue Bauman to Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) board.
Formerly DART's vice president of marketing and communications, Bauman joined the agency in 1984. She served as vice president until her retirement in 2011, when she joined Richland College as an adjunct instructor in government, DART officials said in a press release.
She also served on the board of the McKinney Avenue Transit Authority, which operates the M Line heritage streetcar route in Dallas.
Bauman replaces Robert Strauss, who was appointed to the DART board in 2006.
