APTA appoints Brady senior director of government affairs

The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) has named Andrew Brady senior director of government affairs.

He most recently served as deputy chief of staff and legislative director for U.S. Rep. Richard Hanna (R-N.Y.). In 2011 and 2012, Brady was a legislative assistant for Hanna.

From 2013 through mid-2015, Brady worked for House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Bill Shuster as professional staff on the highways and transit subcommittee.

Brady previously worked as a legislative assistant in the congressional and public affairs division of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
