R. J. Corman Railroad Group LLC has appointed Nathan Henderson president of R. J. Corman Railroad Services LLC and Noel Rush to serve as senior vice president commercial development.

Henderson joined the R. J. Corman companies in January 2011 after a 14-year career at CSX. Since joining R. J. Corman, he served in several leadership roles including VP of material sales, VP of strategic sales and marketing. Most recently, he served as chief commercial officer.

In his new role, Henderson will oversee daily operations and development of the railroad services company, which offers railroad construction, emergency response and maintenance-of-way services, according to an R. J. Corman press release.

In addition to focusing on customer service, Henderson said he would "emphasize the company's overall operating efficiency and work toward ongoing expansion, while keeping safety as our priority."

During his 20-year tenure with R. J. Corman, Rush has held several leadership roles, including as president of R. J. Corman Derailment Services, VP of finance and administration and VP risk management. In addition, Rush helped establish and led the R. J. Corman Storm Team for nearly 15 years.

In his new role, Rush will be responsible for developing the company's corporate marketing strategies, client services, executive relationships and government affairs.

Both Henderson and Rush will continue to report to R. J. Corman President and Chief Executive Officer Ed Quinn.
