Paducah & Louisville announce management changes

Paducah & Louisville Railway Inc. (P&L) and affiliate companies Evansville Western Railway Inc. and Appalachian and Ohio Railroad Inc. last week announced several changes to the management team.

The appointments were made to the transportation and marketing departments to ensure "continued growth and success" of the three railroads, said President Tom Garrett in a press release.

The appointments involved:
• Tim Wyatt, who was named vice president, transportation and labor. He will be responsible for all transportation department operations, dispatching, customer service and labor relations. Wyatt has worked in the railroad industry since 1984 and with P&L since 2003.
• Kevin McEwan, who was named vice president, marketing and sales. He will be responsible for marketing, sales, pricing and industrial development. McEwan began his P&L career in 2006 as manager, revenue analysis. He joined the marketing department as marketing director in 2012.
• Chris Reck, who was named assistant vice president, sales and development. Reck will be responsible for outside sales and industrial development. He joined P&L in 2007 and has served as a conductor, trainmaster and marketing director.
• Tasha Headrick and Brian Wyatt, who have joined the marketing department as marketing analysts. They will be responsible for establishing rates and tariffs for certain commodities, market analysis and transportation contract administration.
