The Railway Tie Association (RTA) today announced the hiring of Ashley Goodin as its new executive director effective May 1.
Goodin will succeed Jim Gauntt, who will work alongside the new director in a consulting capacity, RTA officials said in a press release.
Goodin most recently serviced as technical director at the Architectural Woodwork Institute. He began his career in association management with the AWI Quality Certification Program in 2009, after owning and operating a small construction and millwork company for a decade.
