Rio Grande Pacific Corp. (RGPC) has tapped Chris Stevens as the company's new vice president of industrial rail services.
Stevens has more than three decades of experience in railroad operations, with more than half that time in management specific to industrial operations, safety and switching services.
Prior to joining RGPC, Stevens served as VP of RJC-Operating Switching Co. and earlier was part of management teams at CSX and RailAmerica.
In his new role, Stevens will develop and manage services for RGPC's newly formed Industrial Rail Services unit.
"We believe Chris's rail-operations and switching-services experience are a great fit for our newest rail-service division," said RGPC President Robert Bach in a press release.
