Canadian Pacific has appointed Pam Arpin vice president and chief information officer, the Class I announced yesterday on social media.
In her new role, Arpin is responsible for redefining CP's digital strategy and information services roadmap, enabling the Class I's strategic business goals with the right investments in technology, according to her bio on the railroad's website.
In October 2020, Arpin became the company's first vice president of innovation and business transformation. As vice president and CIO, she retains the same portfolio, including oversight of CP's Network Service Center.
Arpin joined CP in 1997 as a marketing and sales account representative in the resources and products group.
In 2019, the League of Railway Women named Arpin Railway Woman of the Year. That same year, she was listed as one of Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 by the Women's Executive Network.
