Sound Transit's Beckman to lead Portfolio Services Office

Sound Transit this week named agency veteran Eric Beckman as executive director of the Portfolio Services Office.

The role is key to guiding the Seattle transit agency's successful project delivery, Sound Transit officials said in a press release.

Beckman joined Sound Transit in November 2003 as a project manager supporting ST Express and Sounder services before he became a Sounder project director. He recently served as the deputy executive director in Sound Transit’s Department of Design, Engineering and Construction Management, overseeing the business and construction services division.

In his new role, Beckman will report to Sound Transit Deputy CEO Kimberly Farley.
