The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen yesterday announced the election of Edward Hall as its next national president.
Hall's four-year term will begin Jan. 1, 2023, BLET officials said in a press release. Twenty-five other National Division officers were elected under four-year terms, also effective Jan. 1.
The slate of new officers includes Mark Wallace, first vice president; David Estes, national secretary-treasurer; and Vince Verna, VP and national legislative representative.
Seven other VPs were elected: William Lyons, L. Randy Fannon, Peter Semenek, Rick Gibbons, James Louis, Garrison Best and J. Alan Holdcraft.
The new trustees are Patrick Driscoll, Kyle Bagby and Richard Crow.
