The Reading, Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad (R&N) has named Christina Muller-Levan executive vice president of strategic planning.
Most recently, Muller-Levan was president of her family’s aviation business, Reading Jet Center, R&N officials said in a press release.
At the same time she was managing RJC, she was a member of R&N's management team. She is credited with spearheading R&N’s acquisition and implementation of Innovative Operations Technology, a customized software development product specializing in dispatch control systems and passenger excursion ticketing systems. In her new role, she will take the lead in developing a five-year plan for R&N's future. In 2023, R&N officials are anticipating surpassing the freight- and passenger-rail records the company achieved in 2022.
Muller-Levan will help ensure the railroad has the resources to handle expected business growth, R&N officials said. In addition, she'll take on the regional's real estate program.
