TNW Corp. announced yesterday it has appointed Jacob Noe director of safety.

Noe is responsible for leading the corporate safety culture, objectives and strategic functions for all TNW properties and their associated departments, TNW officials said in a news release. That includes safety performance and vision training strategies, regulatory policy development and regulatory compliance and reporting.

Noe previously served as TNW's manager of railroad safety and operations. Prior to joining TNW in 2023, he was a second-generation employee of Norfolk Southern Railway for 28 years.

“Jacob’s strong history in railroad operational safety makes him a natural fit for this role,” said TNW Chief Operating Officer Bobby Franklin.
