People news from ASLRRA, Eno Center and Port of Coos Bay

The American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) has hired Nicole Brewin as vice president of congressional affairs. Her first day with the association was Aug. 12, according to an ASLRRA news release. Brewin joins ASLRRA from The Travel Technology Association, where she served as vice president of government affairs. She previously spent 22 years with the Railway Supply Institute, progressing from assistant VP to senior VP of government and public affairs.

The Eno Center for Transportation's board has appointed Patrick McKenna president and CEO. McKenna, who is succeeding Robert Puentes, will assume his new role Oct. 7, according to an Eno Center news release. McKenna currently serves as the director of the Missouri Department of Transportation.

The Oregon International Port of Coos Bay has named Lanelle Comstock as permanent CEO. Comstock has served as interim CEO of the Port of Coos Bay since June. Also, Melissa Cribbins has been named executive director of the Pacific Coast Intermodal Port, an initiative that's the cornerstone of the port's strategic maritime plan to develop a state-of-the-art intermodal facility.
