The award recognizes a woman who has made extraordinary contributions to the rail industry through innovation and leadership. The LRW is searching to identify women who have powered through challenges, brought transformative changes to the railroad industry and elevated the grade for the future of women in railroading, LRW officials said in a press release.

Nominations are being accepted through Oct. 18. Click here to access the nomination form.

The LRW is seeking nominations of a woman in rail who:

The award will be presented to the recipient at the National Railroad Construction & Maintenance Association (NRC) 2025 Conference & NRC-REMSA Exhibition, which will be held Jan. 5-8, 2025, at the J.W. Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort in Florida.
