Balfour Beatty U.S. hired William Webb as general manager of its Total Power Group (TPG) operations based in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Webb succeeds former General Manager Kevin Miller. Webb will lead the TPG team in providing traction electrification solutions for transit systems, as well as efficient energy system solutions for aviation and mission critical facilities in the United States. Webb has more than 35 years of experience in the power generation and electrical field.

The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation's board last week approved a multiyear contract for HART Executive Director and CEO Lori Kahikina. Effective Jan. 1, 2025, the contract is for a three-year term and includes two, two-year options for extension. She will receive annual salary of $336,000, up from $275,000. Kahikina joined HART in January 2021 as the interim executive director and CEO and was appointed to serve as the top executive from January 2022 through Dec. 31, 2024. As executive director and CEO, she oversees the public transit authority responsible for the planning and construction of Skyline, the transit-rail system for Honolulu. Skyline is the first fully automated, driverless urban light-rail system in the United States.

WSP recently hired Jeffrey Gonneville to serve as senior vice president and transit and rail director of enterprise strategy. Based in Boston, Gonneville will support strategic development projects for WSP and contribute his expertise to solve complex safety, capital, operational, administrative and labor challenges for a variety of clients. Gonneville’s most recent role was deputy general manager and interim general manager for the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA). He served the MBTA for more than 20 years in leadership roles, including chief operating officer, chief mechanical officer and director of vehicle engineering.
