BNSF Railway Co. recently named Cal Reynolds assistant vice president of expedited services to succeed Julie Piggott, who was appointed AVP of financial planning and strategic studies in January. Most recently AVP of food and consumer goods, Reynolds will report to VP of Domestic Intermodal George Duggan.

Earlier this year, BNSF folded the intermodal temperature-controlled business segment under expedited less-than-truckload and truckload services.

“Similarly, due to the high demand for box cars that Cal and his team manage, it is time to integrate all box-car business with the Industrial Products Business Unit,” said Group Vice President-Consumer Products Steve Branscum in a prepared statement.
