STV Inc. promoted Marcos Diaz Gonzalez to president of STV’s transportation northeast operating group. Gonzalez has over four years of service at STV and 25 years in the industry. Also, STV promoted John Ponzio to executive vice president of the firm's Centers of Excellence, where he will oversee the firm’s specialized practices of tunnels and geotech, project controls, systems, vehicles, maintenance and transportation facilities. Ponzio has spent his entire 25-year career at STV. In addition, STV recently hired Garo Hovnanian as EVP of advisory services. Hovnanian joints STV from McKinsey & Co.’s capital excellence practice. He will oversee STV’s aviation, digital advisory, infrastructure economics and sustainable design initiatives. 

INIT announced a new leadership team as of Jan. 1, with Carl Commons, former chief sales officer, becoming CEO. He has worked for INIT for 17 years. Andy Singh, former chief operations officer-East, has been named president and chief operating officer. Singh recently completed six years at INIT as director of engineering. Meanwhile, Eric Linxweiler, who previously was COO-West, has been named to the newly created role of chief customer officer. In his 27 years of senior leadership experience, including nine years with INIT, he will focus on building stronger connections with customers. Scott Walsh, previous senior director of business development, will become executive director of sales and marketing. He has been with INIT for 10 years.
