AARS solicits scholarship applications for railway management course

The American Association of Railroad Superintendents (AARS) is offering a scholarship for the Michigan State University Railway Management Course. Funded by Progress Rail Services, the $17,500 scholarship covers the cost of lodging, tuition, textbooks and some meals.

The scholarship is available to all AARS members who have been employed by a railroad company for at least three years and have the support of their company to attend the four-week course. Nonmembers are eligible with a pending application for AARS membership.

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is July 25. Applications are available online at supt.org, or by calling the AARS office at 331-643-3369.
