Ambler to join BNSF as VP of corporate relations

BNSF Railway Co. has named John Ambler vice president of corporate relations, effective Nov. 17. He will succeed Mary Jo Keating, who left the railroad in July, and report to Executive VP of Law and Secretary Roger Nober.
Ambler most recently was senior vice president of and a partner in Fleishman-Hillard. He previously was global leader, communication and public affairs, for GE Energy and held several VP positions with Enron subsidiaries. Ambler also served Texaco for 17 years in various public policy roles at the state, federal and international levels.
