Jeffrey Thurman was reelected to his third term as general chairman of the BNSF/MNA General Committee of Adjustment (GCA), the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) announced.

A BNSF Railway Co. locomotive engineer and member of BLETDivision 172 (Fort Worth, Texas), Thurman was elected to serve as 3rd vice general chairman in 2009, a position he was reelected for a second time in 2013, according to a BLET news release.

In June 2013, he began his first term of office as general chairman when Rick Gibbons joined the BLET Advisory Board as a national vice president. Thurman was then reelected for a second term at the GCA's 2017 quadrennial meeting.
