BNSF Logistics LLC has appointed Cami Misch interim president while the company's board searches for a permanent candidate for the position.

Prior to her appointment on Oct. 1, Misch served as assistant vice president of consumer products for BNSF Railway Co., the logistics company's parent.

"Delivering value for our customers and partners is what drives our growth and I intend to continue that relentless focus that is central to our culture at BNSF Logistics," said Misch in a press release.

During her more than 25-year career at BNSF, Misch served stints as AVP of domestic intermodal, AVP of industrial products, general director of domestic intermodal and general director of business unit operations. She previously was an auditor for PricewaterCoopers from 1992 to 1997.

Misch succeeds Dan Curtis, who had been president since 2018 and has left the company. Curtis joined BNSF Logistics in 2011 as chief financial officer and later served as chief operating officer before he was appointed president.
