BNSF Railway Co. has appointed its third liaison for agricultural product shippers. Yesterday, the Class I announced it named Mignon Lambley to the newly created position of southern field manager, agricultural products. Based in Hooker, Okla., she will serve as a customer liaison to grain producers, processors and shippers in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

Prior to joining BNSF in 2003, Lambley served as a merchandiser for Continental Grain, and held various positions at ADM and Farmland-Atwood L.L.C.

“Mignon will function as a single point-of-contact to address customer concerns, explain policies and procedures, and provide feedback on BNSF programs and services,” said Kevin Kaufman, BNSF group vice president, agricultural products, in a prepared statement.

BNSF also employs agricultural products field customer liaisons who are responsible for North and South Dakota, and Minnesota; and Montana and eastern Washington.
