BNSF names Gwilt, Irvin to HR management posts

BNSF Railway Co. has appointed Erika Gwilt assistant vice president-learning and organization development, effective June 16.
She most recently was VP of learning and development for Kohl's Corp. Gwilt previously served as director of ground operations education and director of leadership development for Northwest Airlines, and held various training, development and management positions in the hospitality industry.
BNSF also appointed Bret Irvin AVP-staffing and marketing, human resources. Most recently AVP-organization development and marketing human resources, he will continue to have matrix responsibilities for marketing and assume responsibility for certain staffing functions previously under AVP of Human Resources Barbara Cook.
Meanwhile, Cook will assume responsibility for ENVISION and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), and continue to have matrix responsibilities for technology services, human resources, finance and corporate audit services.
In addition, AVP-Compensation, Benefits and HRIS Carlos Green has accepted a position outside the company, BNSF said.
